Parts of a Propane Patio Heater

These heaters work with the help of propane. They can either have a disposable propane bottle unit or can have a pipe connection with a huge propane tank. The mobility of these heaters depends upon the fuel supply.
These heaters can be found in different models and types. They can be free standing or table top. You can get them according to your requirement. Propane patio heater parts consist of a reflector assembly and a reflector cap which are the top most parts of the heater.
Then comes a head assembly which has a heater burner screen, cylinder housing for the propane tank. Inside there is a gas hose, which is connected to a gas regulator. It has a cylindrical base which may have optional wheels.
It can have a propane cylinder or a pipe which can be connected to the propane tank. These were some of the major parts of this heater. It can be very easily assembled at home and requires very little maintenance.

Parts of a Gas Patio Heater

These heaters are very safe for nature as they use natural gas as their fuel. They can be used either with the help of cylinders or with the help of LPG pipes. The parts of these heaters are almost similar to propane patio heaters.
They have a reflector cap assembly on the topmost end which consists of a center reflector which is surrounded by a reflector cap (which is present in four pieces). Then they have a head assembly which has a heater burner screen.
They have cylinder housing for a gas cylinder, a gas hose, gas regulator, and then a cylindrical base which may be connected to wheels. Though they are similar to propane heaters they may require professional installation. But they are quite fuel efficient and their parts live longer as compared to electric heaters.

Parts of an Electric Patio Heater

These heaters are more convenient than the propane and gas heaters as they work with the help of electricity and hence reduce the burden of filling the tanks. They are safe for nature and are known for their instant heating capacity. They heat up the area without wasting much energy.
They consist of an electromagnetic radiation heat source which can be either a metal rod or a quartz lamp. The reflector in these heaters directs the heat out of the unit and helps it to reach to the surrounding places.
They are facilitated with an automatic shut off and thermostat. These heaters have corded connections which are required to be plugged. This makes them immobile. Electric patio heaters are less expensive than the other two types.
