Step #1: First of all, choose an appropriate location to set up the dry well. Make sure it is located at a sufficient distance from your house's foundation.

Step #5: When you begin to install pipes in the well, use solid pipes at the start and then move on to perforated pipes which are closer to the dry well. Immediately lay the pipes into the trench.

Step #6: Use a slope pipe, level it conveniently away from the house to about ¼ ''/ ft of piping. The moment the pipes are laid down in the trench, cover it up and pack it down.

Step #7: At the place where the perforated piping is used with the landscape fabric, form a line trench in that area and cover (layer) it with a drainage stone. Once you are done doing that, install the PVC piping.

Step #8: Fold the fabric ends just to conceal the piping which is installed. Keep adding stones to conceal the trench. Continue to pack down the materials which are added to the trench neatly.

Step #9: Next step is to dig a hole for the well. For doing that use a post-hole digger, or any type of comfortable shovel which is easy to use in the time of action. Make sure you gather these tools around by looking at the size of the dry well first. Line the well with landscape fabric and swarm in 3''-6'' of drainage stone neatly and smoothly.

Step #10: Lay down the concrete shell in the well and attach all the drainage pipes to the newly formed shell. This should extend 6'' deep into the well. Once the piping is placed, fill the surroundings of the shell with more drainage stone. Finally, bond the top of the shell to cover the constructed well.

Now, install the overflow valve by reading the manufacturer's instructions very carefully. Gently wrap the landscaping fabric over the top of the dry well installation and cover it with dirt. Tamp the dirt neatly.
